One Day Trip
Nisyros - Gyali
Combine the volcanic island of Nisyros with Gyali, the unknown island of pumice stone.
Combine the volcanic island of Nisyros with Gyali, the unknown island of pumice stone.

One of the most idyllic islands of the Docecanese, Nysiros, remains untouched. The alternative Nisyros is widely known for its volcano. Its crater, «Stefanos», is one of the most popular sights of the island. The feast of Panagia Spiliani on August 15th, is a good enough reason for both Greeks and foreigners to visit Nisyros. Mandraki may be the capital of the island, but in «Nikia» you will be charmed by one of the most picturesque squares in Greece. Our motor yacht will drop you off at «Pali», where you can wander across a long 400 meter beach and visit a few more beaches nearby. In a close distance you may find traditional taverns offering local cuisine. Nisyros is truly an ode to simplicity.

Gyali is also considered a volcanic island and is located between Nisyros and Kos. Populated by just 20 people, Gyali is gifted with exceptional natural beauty: beaches with turquoise crystal-clear waters and unexplored sea caves. It is widely known for the extraction of pumice stone, which is found in excess in this tiny islet. Gyali feels like heaven on earth. Here, you will have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to indulge yourself in a genuinely Aegean experience.
