Explore the most attractive beaches of Kos Island and wander around the traditional village of Kefalos or the cosmopolitan Kardamaina.

Kardamaina is a popular settlement in Kos Island, located 30 km southwest of Kos town. With an almost 6km coastline, it features long sandy or pebbled beaches and fine crystal waters, making it an ideal spot for sunbathing, water sports, diving etc. Its market includes everything, from traditional local products to the most up-to-date choices. In addition, a variety of dining and nightlife options make it a popular destination among both locals and travelers. Αwarded with a «Blue Flag» for 2013, Helona beach - almost 4km from the settlement - is one of the most charming areas to wander.

Kefalos is undoubtedly the top choice when it comes down to the most attractive beaches in Kos island. Almost all its beaches offer cold crystal clear waters and thin golden sand. Do not miss the most photographed beach, «Agios Stefanos» and its significant scenery: ancient ruins of early Christian temples just a few meters from the sea and a small rocky islet (Kastri) with a traditional chapel (Saint Nicolas). Paradise beach is a well organized beach offering water sports, with shallow-warm waters and soft sand. Sunny beach, Markos beach, Lagada beach, Magic beach and Camel beach are only some of the countless tranquil beaches. On the other hand, Limnionas and Agios Theologos are two remote beaches found on the north side of Kefalos, offering traditional Greek cuisine. Cavo paradiso is a considered to be the island’s most difficult to reach shore, but the scenery will definitely worth it.
